By joining our team as a Shorex Staff (Japanese Speaking) - CS, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of shore excursions for our passengers. As a sales agent, you will be responsible for achieving financial targets, following established sales techniques, and recognizing opportunities to upsell tours or sell additional tour products.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as a sales agent and understand the need to achieve financial targets; receptively accept and follow guidance from the Shore Excursion Manager.
• Follow established sales techniques and recognize appropriate opportunities to upsell tours or sell additional tour products.
• Regularly participate in tours and training to gain a complete knowledge of all tour programs, sales techniques, and policies.
• Consistently and promptly attend Tour Office hours and be familiar with documented booking closing times per Hotel Policies and Procedures.
• Carefully monitor the status of tours returning to the ship and immediately notify the Shore Excursion Manager, Bridge, Guest Services Director, and Food & Beverage department of all delayed tours whenever necessary.
• Ensure tours are dispatched efficiently from designated lounges; properly set up and organize lounges prior to tour meeting times.
• Ensure all passenger complaints are listened to and understood with empathy, showing genuine interest at all times. Ensure responses are appropriate and in line with the department mission statement, customer service standards, and Hotel Policies and procedures.
