At Databricks, we are enabling data teams to solve the world's toughest problems by building and running the world's best data and AI infrastructure platform. The Enterprise platform UX team is responsible for driving the user experience across critical enterprise concerns, specifically focusing on governance, security, and platform observability.
This includes ensuring that platform admins have intuitive controls for managing access and compliance, maintaining a secure and trustworthy environment for their data and AI operations, and providing clear, actionable insights into platform health and usage.
The impact you will have:
- Help design best-in-class monitoring and governance experiences at scale.
- Design unique interactions that will help administrators understand vast amounts of telemetry data.
- Explore new ways in which Generative AI can enhance the platform experience and developer workflows.
- Develop a deep understanding of Databricks business objectives, the cloud and big data space, its users, and competition.
- Conduct user research to identify customer needs and pain points related to data science and platform usage.
We are looking for a Senior Product Designer with 5+ years of experience in product design work, a bachelor's degree or equivalent, and a strong portfolio showcasing the end-to-end design process.
Key responsibilities include leading large and complex design projects, balancing the needs of diverse stakeholders, and executing beautiful visual and interaction work that's rooted in a data-driven and well-researched UX process.
Nice-to-have skills include experience in data visualization, analytics dashboards, or designing interfaces for complex data monitoring, as well as coding skills in React, SQL, CSS, and/or Python.
