Student Intern - Global Sustainability

We are seeking a student intern to join our Global Sustainability team at FUCHS in Mannheim.

As a Student Intern - Global Sustainability, you will support the introduction and validation of a new carbon calculation software and accompany the first reporting phase.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Supporting the implementation and validation of a new carbon calculation software (CCF) and accompanying the first reporting phase
• Analysing sustainability KPIs and conducting error, plausibility, and gap analyses
• Evaluating external sustainability standards and contributing to the further development of the KPI catalogue
• Optimising dashboards and reporting solutions
• Supporting the creation of the 2026 annual report with a focus on non-financial disclosures and CSRD reporting
• Analysing and preparing sustainability metrics, such as energy and emissions data
• Assisting with internal and external audit processes
• Supporting sustainability ratings and developing standardised solution approaches
• Assisting the global sustainability organisation with communication, training, and information preparation

To be successful in this role, you will need:

• A current degree in engineering, chemistry, business administration, or a related field, ideally with a focus on sustainability, strategy, or data analysis
• An interest in ESG topics, sustainability management, and regulatory requirements
• Basic knowledge of relevant sustainability standards such as CSRD, GRI, or Greenhouse Gas Protocol is beneficial
• Proficiency in MS Excel and a strong affinity for data analysis
• Experience with Power BI is desirable
• Fluent German and English language skills in writing and speaking
