Crosby Composites, a leading carbon fibre engineering company, is seeking an Inspection Apprentice to join their team in Brackley. As an apprentice, you will develop your skills and experience within their manufacturing team, working towards a qualification or company standard approval process.
The role involves inspecting components and tooling across various industry sectors, sizes, and complexities. Key responsibilities include:
- Inspecting a broad range of products
- Helping develop processes to improve quality and efficiency
- Maintaining equipment
- Ensuring the department is kept clean and tidy
To succeed in this role, you need:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to follow verbal and written instructions
- Ability to follow procedures
- Experience working in a high-paced and high-pressure environment
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently
As an apprentice, you will commit to 20% off-the-job training requirements, alongside your normal day-to-day job. You will have the opportunity to be part of a high-performing team and develop the behaviours, knowledge, and professional skills to contribute to that team.
The apprenticeship scheme will lead to a qualification or company standard approval process. You will learn to work to strict safety and quality requirements, help achieve daily production requirements, and optimise efficiency while maintaining operational excellence.
