Description
As part of our Manufacturing team, you'll help build world-class, state-of-the-art smart vehicles.
In this position, you will have oversight over maintenance and engineering operations, optimizing the assembly process through collaboration with skilled trades work groups.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee production controls systems and associated systems
- Conduct root cause analysis of downtime issues to prevent recurrence (4D process)
- Analyze equipment performance and work to improve efficiencies; actively participate in Constraint Review Process
- Lead oversight of controls and automation, including indirect supervision of electrical trades and electrical technicians, robot, automation and controls changes, and programming and logic changes
- Work with ME/PE to launch new programs or equipment, optimize Automation and Controls systems for process tooling
- Provide input to MPS for weekend and shutdown maintenance planning
- Work any shift, including rotating shifts and weekends
- Collaborate with Skilled Trades to create modern solutions and pursue new technologies
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- One or more years of technical work experience and troubleshooting in a Manufacturing or OEM Tooling environment
Preferred qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Automation, Controls or Robotics Engineering
- Technical certification in Robot/Automation and Controls
- Three or more years of automotive experience
- One or more years of experience with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel/Outlook)
- Validated experience managing a unionized workforce
- Demonstrated skill with automotive controls and robotics

Salary:
- Salary grade 6: $72,480 - $121,440
- Salary grade 7: $84,480 - $141,360
- Salary grade 8: $96,720 - $162,120
