Software Development Manager, Creator Sponsorships

As a Software Development Manager on the Creator Sponsorships team, you'll lead the team responsible for scaling creator sponsorships and influencer marketing. Your ownership will cover several strategic areas including brand collaborations, Drops, live shopping, and more!

This is a rare opportunity in big tech to have startup-level ownership with the backing and resources of Amazon. The scope is significant,you'll be leading innovation in areas that directly impact creators, viewers, and advertisers across the platform.

Responsibilities:

• Lead a team of engineers to design, build, and operate full-stack applications that serve advertisers, creators, and viewers
• Drive complex technical and product trade-offs, delivering iterative value to our customers
• Lead several disparate, high impact technical and product initiatives concurrently
• Work cross-team and cross-functionally, balancing the (often conflicting) perspectives of these stakeholders
• Cultivate an energetic, fast-paced, collaborative, and high-accountability culture
• Prioritize business impact while ensuring that your team builds maintainable and scalable technical solutions

Requirements:

• 1-5 years of experience managing a team of software engineers as direct reports
• 6+ years of experience in software development
• Deep experience with customer-facing product development
• Experience as a Senior Engineer (IC) designing, implementing, and operating distributed applications at scale
• Proven ability to attract, hire, and develop top engineering talent
