Description

We're looking for an exceptional Chassis Software Engineer to join our team in Dearborn, Michigan. As a key member of our Electric Vehicles, Digital and Design (EVDD) team, you'll play a critical role inCAC developing the latest chassis controls technologies. Your expertise will help us deliver industry-leading customer experience for electric vehicle buyers and owners.

In this role, you'll develop, maintain, and verify brake-based control algorithms written primarily in C-Hand code. You'll also collaborate with feature and system engineers to develop new SW functions to improve experiences for our customers. Additionally, you'll work with calibration teams to understand and tune control algorithms in vehicle.

You'll have a BS in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Computer Science, or a related degree, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience. 3+ years of experience with controls systems work in embedded software on a complex mechatronic system is required. A strong background in vehicle dynamics, experience with vehicle limit handing and driving practices, and familiarity with ISO-26262 are highly desirable.
