Principal Designer – Microsoft AI Health

We're seeking a Principal Product Designer to create end-to-end experiences for our health AI product. You'll own a key product area, driving design from zero-to-one, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver world-class products that empower users and promote positive health outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Ship AI applications that delight consumers with an emphasis on craft, quality, trust, and positive impact
• Own a product area, understanding user needs, defining requirements, and managing development
• Communicate effectively with engineering, product managers, and designers
• Set the bar for excellence and quality
• Translate business goals into strategy, user experience, and technical requirements
• Define goals and performance indicators, and measure success with data and research

Qualifications:

• Master's or Bachelor's degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, Human Computer Interaction, or related field
• 6+ years of experience working in product or service design
• Portfolio or work samples demonstrating shipping world-class consumer products
• Experience with design thinking, influencing design outcomes, and collaborating with engineering

Salary: The typical base pay range for this role in the New York City metropolitan area is USD $188,000 – $304,200 per year.
