Description
We are seeking an experienced SCM Analyst to join our team in Chennai. As an SCM Analyst, you will be responsible for meeting market metrics such as fill rate, inventory turns, and backorders. Your duties will include performing daily, weekly, and monthly processes, procuring services parts from external global suppliers, and responding to dealer part status requests.
Key responsibilities include:
- Meeting market metrics such as fill rate, inventory turns, and backorders
- Performing daily, weekly, and monthly processes without any backlog
- Procuring services parts from external global suppliers
- Responding to dealer part status requests
- Taking action to address immediate dealer needs
- Performing denied order root cause analysis and implementing containment actions
- Reviewing forecast changes and stock order suggestions
- Identifying unusual trends
- Ensuring all open issues are tracked in the issue log with specific details
- Participating in issue log meetings with SMEs/DMs
- Interfacing with internal and external organizations to resolve part issues
- Escalating issues as necessary to the supervisor/manager
Requirements include:
- 1.5 to 5 years of experience in SCM field from any OEM/Tier 1 suppliers (SG4/5)
- Functional skills in SCM fundamentals, supply management, analytical skills, good communication, and cross-country exposure
- Education qualification in Mechanical/Automobile/Production/Industrial Engineer
- No. of years of experience 1.5 to 5 Years
- Professional exposure in auto components/service parts/logistics/inventory planning & management
