Description
We're looking for a Designer Advocate to partner closely with our Marketing, Sales, and Product teams. You'll bring deep design expertise, strong product intuition, and a genuine love for the design community into our go-to-market strategies. You'll also champion our users' voices internally, ensuring their perspectives shape our product evolution.
What you'll do at Figma:
- Empower users at scale: Collaborate closely with Sales and Customer Experience teams to help customers unlock the full potential of Figma across real product workflows
- Create compelling content: Develop written, visual, and video resources that reflect how modern teams actually design and build, from early exploration to production-ready systems
- Inspire community connections: Foster meaningful relationships within the Figma community, identify collaboration opportunities, and nurture user-driven initiatives
- Speak and engage at events: Regularly present at industry meetups, conferences, and community events, sharing practical insights from real-world design work
- Champion user voices: Stay attuned to community feedback, sentiment, and emerging design trends,advocating internally to inform product decisions and improvements
We'd love to hear from you if you have:
- Deep, hands-on expertise with Figma and demonstrated experience integrating it within real product teams and modern product development environments, collaborating closely with engineers and cross-functional partners
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to evolving workflows, including design systems, tokens, and AI-assisted design or prototyping
- Active participation in the design community, whether through events, online platforms, open-source contributions, or advocacy work
- Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to explain complex workflows or systems clearly , and a track record of confidently engaging large audiences in public speaking settings
- Thorough understanding of modern product design workflows, with hands-on experience building, managing, or using design systems
While it’s not required, it’s an added plus if you also have:
- An entrepreneurial mindset - comfortable taking ideas from early exploration to impactful, polished outcomes

Pay Transparency Disclosure If based in Figma’s San Francisco or New York hub offices, this role has the annual base salary range stated below. Job level and actual compensation will be decided based on factors including, but not limited to, individual qualifications objectively assessed during the interview process (including skills and prior relevant experience, potential impact, and scope of role), market demands, and specific work location. The listed range is a guideline, and the range for this role may be modified. For roles that are available to be filled remotely, the pay range is localized according to employee work location by a factor of between 80% and 100% of range. Please discuss your specific work location with your recruiter for more information. Annual Base Salary Range: $153,000-$317,000 USD
