Description
As a Materials Supervisor at Anduril Industries, you will create a strategic plan to optimize warehouse operations, create a standard set of metrics to monitor team performance, set goals for improving performance, and identify areas to reduce cost while maintaining quality.
This role requires extensive supply chain knowledge, experience in developing and implementing SOPs, and a track record of managing expensive inventory. You will be responsible for developing and implementing material management strategies, policies, and procedures to comply with regulations.
Key responsibilities include hiring and training talent, developing processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness, implementing necessary systems to manage government property and inventory, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and quality control protocols.
You will also lead and develop a high-performing warehouse team, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to foster a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, or equivalent work experience, and 3+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, or supply chain management roles in an aerospace and/or defence manufacturing environment.
Additional preferred qualifications include experience in ramping low volume operations to high rate, forklift certification, and knowledge of 5S, lean manufacturing, or 6-Sigma principles.
