Sr. Solutions Engineer - Digital Native Business, Named Accounts

As a Sr. Solutions Engineer on the Digital Natives team, you will shape the future of the big data landscape by working with sophisticated data engineering and data science teams.

Reporting to the Field Engineering Manager, you will collaborate with existing DNB customers, product teams, and the broader customer-facing team to develop architectures and solutions using Databricks' platform and APIs.

Your responsibilities include:

• Partnering with the sales team to provide technical leadership and help customers understand how Databricks can solve their business problems.
• Consulting on Big Data architectures and implementing proof of concepts for strategic projects.
• Validating integrations with cloud services, home-grown tools, and third-party applications.
• Collaborating with fellow Solutions Architects to support each other and users.
• Becoming an expert in and promoting Databricks-inspired open-source projects.

Requirements:

• 3+ years in a data engineering, data science, technical architecture, or similar pre-sales/consulting role.
• Experience building distributed data systems.
• Proficiency in Python and SQL.
• Experience with public cloud providers such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Expertise in data engineering, data science, or machine learning technologies.
• Availability to travel to customers in your region.

Nice to have: Databricks Certification.

The pay range for this role is $152,300-$209,450 USD.
