Chemical Operator

The salary range for this position is $25.00 - $31.00 per hour, but actual compensation will vary depending upon a new hire's experience and qualifications as well as internal equity.

Your Responsibilities:

• Weigh and meter raw materials into mixing tanks.
• Mix raw materials into finished products.
• Transfer finished products into proper shipping containers.
• Conduct regular inspections of ball mills.
• Review batch tickets to determine the type and quantity of graphite to be ground.
• Follow standard operating procedures for loading and unloading ball mills.
• Verify raw material consumption via SAP.

Qualifications we are looking for:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Two plus years of previous manufacturing/plant operations experience required.
• Demonstrated ability to follow simple batch ticket instructions.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Work with limited supervision and perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Batch making and/or compounding experience a plus.
• SAP experience a plus.
