Data Analyst & SW Developer (JIRA Admin)

We are seeking a Data Analyst & SW Developer (JIRA Admin) to join our team in Morocco.

Job Summary: As a Data Analyst & SW Developer (JIRA Admin), you will be responsible for administering and maintaining Jira projects, workflows, schemes, screens, permissions, and custom fields. You will also develop and maintain automations using native Jira Automation and ScriptRunner, and configure and manage Jira Marketplace applications.

Responsibilities:

• Administer and maintain Jira projects, workflows, schemes, screens, permissions, and custom fields
• Manage user accounts, groups, roles, and access rights
• Configure and optimize Jira workflows, including validators, conditions, and post functions
• Ensure platform stability, performance, and compliance with best practices
• Support the implementation and maintenance of Jira governance standards
• Develop and maintain automations using native Jira Automation and ScriptRunner
• Configure and manage Jira Marketplace applications such as ScriptRunner, Xray, BigPicture, and similar tools
• Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation and workflow optimization
• Act as the first point of contact for client and user requests related to Jira
• Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve support tickets within agreed service levels
• Provide guidance and training to end users on Jira functionalities and best practices

Requirements:

• Previous experience in an administrative, support, service desk, application support, or Jira administration role
• Experience administering Jira projects, workflows, permissions, and configurations
• Knowledge of Jira Automation and workflow customization
• Familiarity with ScriptRunner or willingness to learn quickly
• Strong communication skills in English (written and verbal)
• Excellent customer service and client-facing abilities
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills

Nice to Have:

• Experience with Atlassian products (Jira, Confluence, Jira Service Management)
• Experience in Application Support, Service Desk, or Tool Administration
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies
• Experience working directly with international clients
