Aircraft Engine Production & MRO Engineer

Honda is seeking an Aircraft Engine Production & MRO Engineer to join their team in Burlington, North Carolina.

The successful candidate will be a member of the engine production and MRO team, providing engineering leadership for planning, technical direction, and supplier support associated with new product and product returning from customers for repair and overhaul.

Key responsibilities include:

• Executing design changes, service bulletins, and instruction changes
• Leading future business planning and execution for MRO, parts repair, and in-house manufacturing expansion
• Developing and implementing new production and MRO procedure changes
• Collaborating with design and manufacturing teams to improve product reliability and manufacturing efficiency
• Developing engine build work scope and parts repair procedures
• Supporting team leaders with daily oversight and training of associates

The ideal candidate will have:

• A bachelor's degree in an engineering discipline, preferably mechanical or aerospace
• At least 3 years of experience in an aircraft engine production or repair environment
• Experience with turbine engine maintenance, inspections, and FAA regulations
• Knowledge of lean manufacturing initiatives such as TQM, Kaizen, and Six Sigma
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency with computer-based software, manufacturing execution, and warehouse management systems
