Internal Communications Specialist

As an Internal Communications Specialist at Brex, you will be the engine behind how the company communicates internally , ensuring employees across the globe are informed, aligned, and engaged.

Responsibilities

• Support the planning and execution of company-wide All Hands meetings and other employee events
• Partner closely with senior leaders and key stakeholders to align on themes, timing, and content for key employee communications and events
• Draft and edit a wide range of content including Slack announcements, presentations, employee resources, leadership communications, and internal documentation
• Own recurring communications programs and business rhythms, including All Hands follow-ups, leadership summaries, newsletters, and employee updates
• Maintain editorial calendars and communication plans that map to key business milestones, company priorities, and cultural moments
• Support communication strategies during periods of organisational change and transformation
• Develop manager guidance, employee FAQs, and communication plans to support key company initiatives and rollouts
• Improve communication consistency, structure, and scalability across teams through templates, processes, and best practices
• Measure and analyse the effectiveness of internal communications through engagement metrics and employee feedback

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in internal communications, employee communications, talent brand, content, marketing, journalism, People programs, or a related field
• Exceptional writing and editing skills
• Strong project management and organisational skills
• Excellent judgment and discretion when handling sensitive or confidential information
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and operate effectively in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
• Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build productive working relationships across teams and levels

Bonus Points

• Experience supporting company-wide events such as All Hands, Town Halls, leadership offsites, or other employee-facing programs
• Experience supporting communications through a merger, acquisition, organisational transformation, or other significant periods of change
• Experience producing video, presentation, or multimedia content for employee audiences
• Familiarity with employee engagement, communications, or analytics platforms and tools

Compensation

The expected salary range for this role is $108,950 - $131,188 USD.
