NASCAR Digital Media is seeking an experienced Managing Editor for NASCAR.com to serve as a senior editorial leader guiding written content strategy, cross-functional collaboration, and editorial execution across NASCAR Digital Media's flagship platform and digital properties.

The Managing Editor will oversee race coverage, news, features, and site programming, ensuring NASCAR.com delivers timely, authoritative, and engaging storytelling aligned with the NASCAR brand and audience growth objectives.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading editorial planning and content execution across NASCAR.com and other digital properties
  • Establishing and executing editorial strategies and innovative content initiatives supporting audience growth, fan engagement, and evolving digital experiences
  • Providing leadership, mentorship, and direction across assigned editorial teams to ensure consistency in voice, standards, workflows, and strategic priorities
  • Elevating the quality of written content through editing, coaching, and ongoing evaluation of coverage, presentation, and storytelling opportunities
  • Partnering with the Editor in Chief, analytics, and cross-functional teams to identify trends, measure performance, and implement editorial improvements

  • A deep understanding of sports content, audience engagement, and digital publishing best practices
  • Strong editorial instincts with the ability to identify compelling stories, emerging trends, and audience opportunities
  • Experience leading editorial teams and managing high-level content operations in a fast-paced digital environment
  • Ability to balance creative vision and innovation with data-informed strategy and strong operational execution
