Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at ATI Physical Therapy's Tucker location. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation programs.
Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans Conduct patient assessments and develop treatment plans Provide patient education and training on exercise programs and home safety Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred Certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) through the National Board for Certification in Medical Rehabilitation (NBCMR) Current CPR certification Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods
