Description
We are seeking an experienced SAP Testing and MM Product Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will be responsible for guiding and mentoring junior team members, understanding the current business process across all regions/plants, and working with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process/legacy systems to industry best standards/technology/systems focusing on the SAP MM modules.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Understanding the current business process across all regions/plants
- Independently guiding and mentoring junior team members, fostering their development and ensuring high-quality deliverables
- Understanding the functionality of current Legacy Material requirements Planning (MRP) and associated upstream and downstream systems
- Working with various stakeholders to study the transformation of current process/legacy systems to industry best standards/technology/systems focusing on the SAP MM modules
- Performing Requirements Gathering, Business Analysis, and Fit-Gap/Fit-to-Standard Analysis to understand the as-is/to-be states and identify key functionality/process gaps
- Recommending possible technology/process solution to address gaps
- Developing roadmap/transformation map without impacting the operations
- Deploying SAP S/4 MM across various sites globally and integrating with both legacy & other best-in-breed applications
- Providing recommendations for continuous improvement
In addition, you will be responsible for defining the overall test strategy, scope, and approach for the project, preparing and managing test plans, test scenarios, and test schedules, coordinating SIT, UAT, regression, and other testing phases with functional and technical teams, leading and mentoring the testing team, assigning tasks, and tracking progress, ensuring defects are logged with proper analysis, prioritization, and follow-up until closure, collaborating closely with business users, developers, functional consultants, and project managers, monitoring test coverage, quality metrics, risks, and issue resolution timelines, driving daily status reviews and providing clear reporting on testing progress, blockers, and quality status, and ensuring test evidence, documentation, and sign-offs are completed as per governance standards.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work effectively in a team environment, and have a strong understanding of SAP MM and testing methodologies.
