Senior Technical Sourcer

Shield AI is seeking a highly driven Senior Technical Sourcer to join its Aircraft division. The successful candidate will be responsible for talent discovery, market mapping, proactive candidate generation, and pipeline cultivation across the Aircraft team.

The role involves:

• Developing and executing precision sourcing strategies to meet complex hiring needs
• Mapping the market to identify top talent and hidden talent pools
• Using advanced Boolean search and tooling to find and engage exceptional candidates
• Building and maintaining relationships with high-value candidates
• Coaching recruiters and hiring managers on market insights and candidate engagement best practices
• Partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize outbound messaging and candidate experience
• Tracking and iterating on outreach effectiveness using data and storytelling

The ideal candidate will have:

• 8+ years of proven cross-regional sourcing experience, ideally in aerospace, defense, autonomy, or other complex hardware/software industries
• A proven track record in market mapping, competitive intelligence, and candidate generation for highly specialized technical roles
• Deep expertise in Boolean search, LinkedIn Recruiter, HireEZ, and other sourcing platforms
• Experience building and maintaining long-term relationships with passive, cleared, or niche engineering talent
• Excellent communication and storytelling skills
• Ability to operate autonomously in a fast-paced, mission-driven environment
