Sr. Material Handler - O'Hara - M-TH 5:30 am - 3:50 pm

We are looking for a Sr. Material Handler to work at our O'Hara, PA location. The role involves physical and transactional movement of material supporting a manufacturing plant or service logistics operation. The position operates Monday to Thursday from 5:30 am to 3:50 pm with occasional Friday overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Advanced understanding of multiple warehouse and materials functions;
• Following of all documented processes and procedures;
• Physical transport of materials and timely and accurate completion for all required SAP transactions using appropriate PPE and material handling equipment;
• Finished product packaging using visual work instructions according to all regulatory requirements;
• Completion of all required transactional steps to receive and ship material;
• Identifying, defining and implementing process improvement or cost savings activities.

Requirements:

• High school diploma or GED;
• Working knowledge of MS Office applications;
• Ability to operate independently;
• Demonstrated problem-solving abilities;
• Strong attention to detail;
• Ability to work in a team environment;
• SAP proficiency in daily transactions in one primary logistic function.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 2 years of relevant work experience in materials, manufacturing, logistics, or supply chain;
• The ability to learn to Operate a powered industrial truck (fork truck), as needed.
