Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and assist with rehabilitation programs.
Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments Conduct exercises and activities to help patients improve mobility and strength Communicate with patients, families, and healthcare teams to ensure effective care Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with best practices
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred Current certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Strong communication and interpersonal skills
