Description
Greenlight is seeking a Software Engineer II, Frontend to join its Web Platform and Family Hub team. The ideal candidate has a background in NextJS web application development and understands application design and development.
The role involves leading the design and implementation of groundbreaking web experiences, translating mobile features to the web with world-class UX. The engineer will drive technical strategy, define engineering standards/best practices, mentor engineers, and establish the technical vision for the web platform. They will manage technical debt, champion code quality, and lead architectural evolution.
Responsibilities:

Requirements:
- BS in Computer Science or equivalent
- 3+ years of software development experience with a track record of technical leadership
- Expertise in React/Next.js/Remix, experience with modern build tools, testing, and CI/CD
Technologies used:
- Frontend: React, Next.js, TypeScript, Tailwind CSS, Modern build tools (Turborepo, etc.), Testing (Cypress, React Testing Library, Jest)
- Backend & Infrastructure: Node.js, Express, TypeScript/Kotlin, REST APIs, AWS

Salary: The estimated base pay range for this position in (NY, CA, WA): $122,000- 170,000 The estimated base pay range for this position in (CO): $122,000- 145,000
