Description

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Verification Engineer to join its automotive verification group. The engineer will contribute to projects designing the future of automotive chips and systems, gaining experience with high-performance CPU and memory sub-systems, NOC-based interconnect fabric, and high-speed I/Os.

The role involves developing UVM-based verification test benches and methodologies for in-house ARM architecture-based distributed fabric. Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting testbenches and crafting verification environments using SV and UVM methodology
  • Defining test plans, tests, and verification infrastructure for modules, clusters, and systems
  • Building efficient and reusable bus functional models, monitors, checkers, and scoreboards
  • Implementing functional coverage and coordinating the verification closure process for the unit
  • Collaborating with architects, designers, FPGA, and post-silicon teams to ensure unit robustness

Requirements include:

  • BTech or MTech in ECE, EE, CSE, or equivalent degree
  • 4+ years of demonstrated ability in verification closure of complex units, sub-systems, or SOC level verification
  • Proven experience in ARM architecture and protocols (AXI, AHB, and APB)
  • Experience in latest verification methodologies like SV and UVM
  • Good debugging and analytical skills with exposure to industry-standard verification tools
  • Good interpersonal skills and ability to work with cross-cultural global teams

Preferred qualifications include exposure to AI tools like Claude or Cursor, formal verification, and a mentality towards constant improvement.
