As a Senior Production Supervisor, you are the vital link between strategic goals and daily execution. You'll be leading a dedicated hourly team, fostering an environment where they can do their best work and feel empowered.

Responsibilities:

  • Act as a champion of workplace safety, proactively enforcing regulations and fostering a culture of vigilance.
  • Lead and direct a team of employees that consistently makes high-quality products and meets or exceeds production targets.
  • Prioritize critical tasks and effectively allocate human resources to maximize efficiency.
  • Apply a 'Bias for Action,' promptly and decisively addressing safety and quality issues to prevent larger problems.
  • Embrace a servant leadership style, focusing on building high-performing, winning teams and investing in their growth.
  • Utilize data and insights to drive down downtime and quality defects, driving quantifiable improvements in efficiency and quality.
  • Maintain a relentless focus on identifying and eliminating inefficiencies, improving processes, and driving innovation to enhance productivity, quality, and safety.
  • Proactively address and mediate conflicts fairly and effectively, facilitating mutually acceptable solutions.
  • Champion accountability, managing both your own performance and that of the hourly workforce regarding processes and standards.
  • Actively listen to and value the perspectives of all team members and other department stakeholders.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent 7+ years of supervisory, manufacturing, military, or other relevant experience.
  • Proven track record of leading large-scale process improvements or cultural shifts.
  • Experience with Lean / Six Sigma methodology, Military Decision-Making Process (MDMP) Experience or equivalent, union experience, and experience in an automotive environment are preferred.
