Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to provide patient care and support. You will assist with exercises, treatments, and other tasks as needed.
Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists with patient care and treatment plans Conduct examinations and assessments of patients' physical abilities Develop and implement exercise programs for patients Maintain accurate records of patient progress and treatment plans Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred Current certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods Strong communication and interpersonal skills
