Operations Specialist

We are seeking an Operations Specialist to join our team in Rep. Dominicana, Latin America.

The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the supply chain with its immediate objectives of transparency, flexibility, and efficiency. This includes planning, executing, and finalizing procurement strategies for goods and services spend across the organization, implementing and managing Red Bull standard operations processes for both finished goods and advertising material, and managing key relationships with third-party logistics providers and distribution partners.

Key responsibilities include:

Logistics

• Ensuring constant product availability to run the Red Bull business successfully
• Planning and inventory management of the entire order cycle of finished goods and advertising material
• Partner management with Red Bull third-party logistics providers
• Timely and effective distribution of finished goods and advertising material to customers
• Defining and implementing strategies and best practices for handling advertising and event materials
• Implementing all Red Bull Operations Quality Standards
• Supporting internal stakeholders in matters concerning planning, innovation, sourcing, production, delivery, and quality
• Benchmarking against internal and external best practices to ensure operational structure and process efficiency

Facilities

• Verifying that all operational activities comply with Safety – Health – Environment requirements and the company code of conduct
• Ensuring the proper functioning of the Red Bull office
• Being mindful of the environmental impact of Red Bull operations and focusing on reducing or mitigating adverse impacts
• Promoting internal efficiencies and sustainable initiatives for effective resource management

Procurement

• End responsibility for budget setting and all costs incurred within the operations area
• Developing and implementing purchasing policies, outsourcing guidelines, and procurement procedures
• Striving for premium quality, optimized costs, continuous innovation, and process excellence across sourcing and procurement activities

Requirements

• At least 5 years of previous work experience in Logistics / Supply Chain, ideally in an FMCG environment
• University Degree (Engineering, Business Administration, etc.)
• Specialized qualifications in Logistics or Supply Chain Management will be valuable
• Experience in international supply chain in a group context
• Experience managing warehousing, logistics, and transportation processes within a 3PL environment
• Leadership, motivation, innovation, problem-solving, and team skills
• Fluent in written and spoken English
• Ability to develop strategies for increasing distribution strength
• Exposure to Customer Relationship Management within a client-facing division of an organization
• Good skills on all MS products such as Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Deep working knowledge of SAP R/3 is a strong plus
