We're seeking a (Senior) Manager (all genders) Maritime Strategy & Transformation to join our team. As a key member of our maritime practice, you will advise top management on strategy development and execution for cargo and cruise shipping companies and port or terminal operators.
Your responsibilities will include leading complex transformation, optimization, and sustainability projects across the value chain of maritime operators and infrastructure providers. You will design and implement new business models and service offerings, particularly in shipping operations, port services, and the cruise industry.
Key requirements for this role include a Master's degree with honors in industrial engineering, business administration, or a related field, ideally with a focus on maritime management, logistics, or operations. You should have several years of consulting experience with a focus on shipping, cruise, or ports, supplemented by relevant industry exposure.
As a seasoned consultant, you will possess solid hands-on project management experience, from target definition to successful delivery. You will lead and motivate teams and clients through clear objectives, structured problem solving, and effective communication.
Strong interest in strategy, operational excellence, and entrepreneurial thinking is essential for this role. Very good English and German language skills and willingness to travel are also required.
