FBS Data Engineer

As a Data Engineer at Capgemini, you will be responsible for developing and supporting reporting, analytics, and data solutions across on-premises and cloud platforms.

Key responsibilities include:

• Designing, developing, and maintaining reports, dashboards, and datasets to support business reporting and analytics needs.
• Supporting preparation and transformation of structured and unstructured data for analytics, natural language processing, and AI-driven use cases.
• Collaborating with business, reporting, and analytics teams to understand requirements and deliver reporting solutions aligned with business needs.
• Designing, developing, and maintaining data pipelines to integrate data from multiple sources into enterprise platforms such as Snowflake or Lakehouse environments.
• Configuring and supporting data connectivity including gateways, service accounts, and secure access to data platforms.
• Troubleshooting and resolving reporting and data issues such as refresh failures, data discrepancies, and connectivity problems to ensure reliability.
• Applying performance optimization techniques across reports, datasets, and data pipelines to improve efficiency and user experience.
• Ensuring adherence to data governance, security, and compliance standards, including access management and standardized processes.
• Translating business requirements into technical specifications and supporting delivery of reporting and data initiatives within defined timelines.
• Creating and maintaining documentation for reports, datasets, data pipelines, and support processes.
• Supporting data validation, cleansing, and enrichment to ensure accuracy for reporting, analytics, and AI/ML consumption.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Advanced experience with Power BI
• Advanced experience with SQL
• 8-12 years of experience
• Familiarity with Snowflake, Datawarehouse Concepts, and Microsoft Fabric is a plus
