Description
We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead our maintenance team at our Santhià facility.
The successful candidate will be responsible for guiding, coordinating, and controlling the activities of multiple maintenance assistants and technicians.
Key objectives include:
- Programming and organizing various types of maintenance interventions, prioritizing them within company objectives
- Updating colleagues on new maintenance techniques and providing necessary assistance for complex interventions
- Collaborating with other departments to define operational modes for maintenance programs and researching technical solutions to improve plant maintenance and construction levels, while adhering to safety regulations
- Achieving the goal of 'zero' downtime due to faults
Main responsibilities:
- Managing assigned personnel, including internal staff and external contractors, based on their competencies
- Guiding assigned personnel towards continuous improvement of equipment and plants to increase efficiency and reduce costs
- Ensuring maintenance programs (preventive, routine, extraordinary, and predictive) are respected, estimating costs
- Identifying and proposing projects to reduce operational costs (materials and energy) to the Plant Manager
- Highlighting potential plant shutdown problems, identifying necessary maintenance work, assigning priorities, and communicating related costs
- Managing the maintenance budget and developing management indicators (MTTR and MTBF) and controlling related costs
- Controlling and managing spare parts ordering and external supplier calls for technical support or intervention
- Supervising plant modifications and layouts, respecting predicted times and costs
- Implementing actions to ensure compliance with HSE requirements
Requirements:
- Mechanical Engineering degree or equivalent knowledge of industrial processes
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in the role, preferably from manufacturing companies in the automotive sector
- Good knowledge of Excel and Office in general
- Experience with Opex and Capex management
- Strong analytical skills, planning, and time management abilities
- Problem-solving and flexibility are essential soft skills for the ideal candidate
- Goal-oriented mindset and excellent interpersonal skills
