We're transforming the future of transportation and mobility. As a Team Manager-Maintenance at Ford, you'll lead our maintenance superintendents to the next level, driving standardization and continuous improvement in the Ford Production System.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Addressing department Health & Safety concerns
- Enforcing department compliance with government, industry, and corporate standards
- Promoting improved department safety metrics and providing resources for activities
- Enforcing safety process adherence for launch-related Pro-Tag and Arc Flash updates, Construction Service Safety audits/compliance checks, and inter-department Pre-Task Analyses
- Leading data-driven maintenance processes to improve quality metrics
- Driving root cause analysis and implementing permanent corrective actions through the Global 4D or 8D process
- Monitoring production runs to ensure they stay on schedule and correcting any maintenance-related problems that arise
- Providing resources and activities required to ensure problem-free start-ups
- Facilitating start-up and shift-to-shift meetings
- Championing constraint analysis and coordinating activities to eliminate bottlenecks
- Leading project writing and the process of collecting and evaluating data in sound business cases
- Managing to budgets
- Setting, prioritizing, and providing resources to control and improve Maintenance Cost Per Unit (MCPU)
- Disseminating policy deployment, driving SQDCPME, and communicating departmental maintenance goals
- Coaching, counseling, and teaching subordinates to enhance the One Team goal
- Creating a team environment that is founded on accountability, teamwork, empowerment, and continuous improvement
- Ensuring department compliance with government, industry, and corporate standards
This is a leadership-level 6 position, ranging from $115,500 to $218,100 per year.
