Job Overview

We are seeking a Quality Inspector to join our team in Lexington, MA. As a Quality Inspector, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our manufacturing processes and products meet high-quality standards.

About the Team

Our Quality Engineering team is a dedicated group of professionals committed to ensuring the highest standards of quality in our processes. We play a crucial role in maintaining the integrity and reliability of our products, working collaboratively to identify, analyze, and resolve quality issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform incoming inspection, in-process inspection, and end-of-line inspection
  • Collaborate with Quality Engineering to create inspection plans for incoming materials, parts, and assemblies from suppliers
  • Execute equipment calibration and material shelf-life verification programs
  • Support Material Review Board processes
  • Support internal and external audits on processes and procedures
  • Review and propose continuous improvement projects for productivity gains, quality improvements, and benefits to Anduril's quality policy

Requirements

  • Technical or Associate's degree in a related quality/mechanical/aerospace engineering field
  • 3+ years of Quality and/or Manufacturing experience within the Aerospace industry
  • Experience with calibrated equipment (calipers, micrometers, multimeters, oscilloscopes, network analyzers, CMM, etc.)
  • Experience reading and interpreting engineering drawings (wire diagrams, work instructions, CAD)
  • Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) knowledge
  • Experience with inspection of machined parts and mechanical assemblies
  • Experience with inspection of Electrical and Electronic Components (Power Supplies, PCBs, wire-harnesses)
  • Experience in a facility with AS9100, ISO9001, IATF 16949, or similar QMS standard
  • Ability to rapidly change roles/responsibilities while working in a fast-paced, challenging work environment
  • Ability to effectively communicate (verbal and written) with engineering and production
  • Ability to lift 25 lbs unassisted
  • Understanding of FAIR, COC, production metrics
  • Eligible to obtain and maintain a U.S. Secret clearance

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field of study
  • IPC-A-610 or IPC-A-620 Certification
  • Experience with Manufacturing processes and their related systems (Jira, MES, ERP, Teamcenter, CAD)
  • Experience with auditing processes and procedures in a manufacturing environment
  • Detail-oriented self-starter with minimal oversight and strong ability to communicate with different cross-functional teams

Salary and Benefits
