Business Intelligence Team Lead

We are seeking a Business Intelligence Team Lead to join our Global Service Center (GSC) at HSBC. You will lead the delivery of Business Intelligence (BI) and analytics solutions for the US market, ensuring that dashboards, reports, and analyses drive measurable business outcomes.

The ideal candidate will have strong experience leading end-to-end BI/Analytics delivery in enterprise environments, demonstrated experience in people management, performance management, and talent development, and proven stakeholder management skills.

Key responsibilities:

• Lead the delivery of BI and analytics solutions for the US market
• Manage and develop the BI/Analytics team
• Ensure consistent execution of projects, meeting SLAs and delivering high-quality results
• Act as primary point of contact for US stakeholders
• Define and maintain KPIs, metrics glossary, and visualisation standards
• Guide solution design in Looker and Qlik Sense
• Ensure BigQuery best practices
• Partner with Data Management on data availability and performance improvements
• Ensure consistent use of SAS for analytics and validation
• Promote content governance and data quality controls

Requirements:

• Strong experience leading end-to-end BI/Analytics delivery in enterprise environments
• Demonstrated experience in people management, performance management, and talent development
• Proven stakeholder management skills
• Advanced SQL
• Hands-on experience with Looker and/or Qlik Sense
• Experience with Google Cloud / BigQuery
• Working knowledge of SAS
• Business-level English
