Senior Business Development Manager - IBERIA

As Senior Business Development Manager - IBERIA, you will build Shield AI's business opportunities in IBERIA, focusing on orders execution and growth. This involves engaging with customers, attending events, and product demonstrations. You will work on a small team with a demanding work and travel schedule, requiring a high level of responsibility and accountability to deliver results.

Key responsibilities include:

• Presenting and discussing Shield AI's product portfolio with customers,
• Attending trade shows, exhibitions, and other industry events to promote Shield AI's products,
• Coordinating marketing and government relations opportunities,
• Building and devising industry partnerships,
• Planning and executing product demonstrations,
• Collaborating cross-functionally to address customer needs,
• Leading proposal responses,
• Developing offset strategies.

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A willingness to remain in or expatriate to Europe for a minimum of two years,
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present at all business and government levels,
• Charisma and leadership abilities to motivate and inspire others,
• A thorough understanding of military operations and the acquisition process,
• At least six years of relevant military or prior defence industry experience,
• Self-motivation and a results-driven approach, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding critical goals and deadlines,
• Strong international relationships and the ability to work effectively across various cultures,
• Technical knowledge within UAV and/or AI disciplines, or the ability to learn quickly,
• Willingness to travel internationally, frequently and without restriction,
• Team orientation with the ability to communicate collaboratively and effectively,
• Technical competence in multiple systems and software.

Preferred qualifications include experience in strategy or business development in Spain and Portugal, prior UAV or AI business development in a defence context, and proven leadership within the DoD or international equivalents.
