Transport Supervisor

We're looking for an experienced Transport Supervisor to lead the day-to-day operations of our Traffic Office in Ipswich. You'll be responsible for a 30+ vehicle fleet and 34 drivers, ensuring safe, compliant, and efficient transport operations while driving performance and customer service.

This is a hands-on leadership role with real responsibility and impact.

Your Core Responsibilities

• Lead and motivate drivers, dispatchers, and operatives across multi-shift operations
• Manage fleet compliance, vehicle safety, and operator licence requirements
• Drive KPI performance across safety, service, and cost control
• Ensure full compliance with transport, environmental, and H&S legislation
• Champion a strong safety culture, including near-miss reporting
• Build strong relationships with internal teams and external customers

Our Essential Requirements

• Proven experience in transport or logistics management
• National CPC qualification
• Strong knowledge of transport, environmental, and H&S compliance
• Commercially minded with experience managing costs and performance
• Confident leader and communicator
• Good local area knowledge and flexibility to travel when required
