Description
We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our DevOps and SRE team. As a key member of our technical leadership team, you will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies, methods, and automated processes that bridge the gap between software development and IT operations.
Your primary focus will be on ensuring that systems are reliable, secure, and optimized while guiding the adoption of infrastructure as code (IaC) and maintaining continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines.
Key responsibilities include:
- Team Leadership: Managing and mentoring DevOps engineers, overseeing project workflows, and setting team goals.
- Infrastructure Management: Building, testing, and maintaining cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and infrastructure as code.
- Pipeline Automation: Building and optimizing CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient software delivery.
- System Reliability & Monitoring: Monitoring software performance, troubleshooting system errors, and implementing preventative measures to ensure high uptime.
- Collaboration & Process Improvement: Bridging development and operations teams, improving collaboration, and optimizing development workflows.
- Security & Compliance: Ensuring security best practices are implemented throughout the software development lifecycle.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a strong background in software engineering, experience with automation and infrastructure, and excellent leadership and communication skills.
