Physical Therapist Assistant

Responsibilities:

• Assist licensed therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and modalities
• Develop and implement treatment plans under the supervision of licensed therapists
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Completion of a Physical Therapist Assistant program accredited by the Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE)
• Current licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant in the state of South Carolina
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods

Preferred qualifications:

• Previous experience as a Physical Therapist Assistant
• BLS certification
