Description
Okta is looking for a Senior Manager of Technical Product Marketing to lead and elevate this function across both Okta and Auth0.
The Senior Manager will transform Technical Product Marketing into a proactive, strategic engine , owning the demo and technical experience strategy that brings the "Okta Secures AI" opportunity to life for both enterprise and developer audiences.
Responsibilities:
- Set the Strategy: Define and own a proactive roadmap of technical storytelling, demos, and product experiences across the Okta and Auth0 portfolios.
- Champion "Show, Don't Tell": Lead the creation of demos, proof-of-concepts, and product experiences that prove value and differentiate Okta.
- Prove the "Okta Secures AI" Story: Build demos and proof points that show how Okta and Auth0 secure AI agents and agentic workflows.
- Reinvent How Technical Marketing Gets Built: Champion AI-powered tools and workflows to accelerate demo and content creation.
- Lead, Mentor, and Grow a Team: Lead two pods of Demo & Experience Architects and Technical Content Specialists.
- Influence the Product Roadmap: Partner with Product Management to ensure technical accuracy and shape future priorities.
- Empower the Field: Co-create demos and enablement with Sales Engineering to accelerate deal cycles.
- Win Competitively: Partner with Competitive Intelligence to integrate differentiated proof points into demos and technical storytelling.
- Align with the GTM Engine: Partner with PMM and Demand Gen to align technical narratives with core positioning and go-to-market motions.
Requirements:
- 10+ years in a technical product function, with 5+ years in people management preferred.
- Proven experience hiring, mentoring, and leading high-performing technical teams.
- Deep, hands-on expertise building demos and product experiences.
- Hands-on experience using AI-powered tools to accelerate demo and content creation.
- Technical credibility to influence the product roadmap and build trust with IT/security buyers and developers.
- Exceptional ability to communicate complex technical concepts simply and persuasively.

Salary:
- San Francisco Bay area: $202,000-$277,000 USD
- California (excluding San Francisco Bay Area), Colorado, Illinois, New York, and Washington: $180,000-$247,000 USD
- Canada: $160,000-$220,000 CAD
