We are seeking an Editor to join our team for the format 'Links Rechts Mitte – Duell der Meinungsmacher'. As an Editor, you will be responsible for finding topics, acquiring and managing guests, creating dossiers and briefings, and organising various assets.

Responsibilities:

• Editorial responsibility for topic finding, guest acquisition, and management
• Creating dossiers and briefings after pre-interviews
• Organising and managing various assets such as press texts, recordings, and broadcast schedules
• Operative support for broadcast processing and guest management
• Creating texts and editing playback films
• Managing social media channels and the homepage

Requirements:

• Several years of experience as an editor, ideally in a TV talk show or magazine
• Fluent German and English; additional foreign languages are beneficial
• Passion for in-depth and accurate research on current political topics
• Broad network of relevant individuals from politics, media, art, culture, and science
• High text security for playback texts and dossiers
• Pronounced people skills for assessing potential guests and sensing mood swings and trends in the population
• Friendly and professional demeanour towards talk participants, secure appearance, and pronounced teamwork skills
• Quick and correct work even under high time pressure
• Willingness to work extra hours during peak times and production days
