Security Shift Leader

We are seeking a Security Shift Leader to join our team at Cotswold Designer Outlet. As a Security Shift Leader, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operational delivery of all Soft Services on shift, including security, housekeeping, and Guest Services.

The role involves acting as the on-shift operational lead, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality service delivery across the site. You will report to the Shared Services Manager, who retains overall responsibility for the Soft Services function.

Key responsibilities include:

• Delivering all Soft Services operations on shift in line with standards and direction set by the Shared Services Manager
• Taking full responsibility for the management and performance of security, housekeeping, and Guest Services teams on shift
• Acting as the primary decision maker on shift for Soft Services matters
• Managing and resolving day-to-day operational issues
• Coaching and mentoring team members
• Monitoring attendance and timekeeping
• Supporting recruitment activity
• Promoting a positive, inclusive, and professional working environment
• Overseeing the implementation of the Emergency Response Plan
• Maintaining accurate records
• Ensuring full compliance with Health and Safety legislation and company policies
• Acting as an ambassador for the site

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a security officer or security leadership role with housekeeping and security experience
• Valid SIA licence
• Strong communication skills
• Confident using systems and software relevant to site operations
• Reliable, self-motivated, and able to work independently
• Strong problem-solving skills
• Ability to lead, motivate, and positively influence teams
• Professional, approachable, and able to deal with people at all levels
• Strong organisational skills with good attention to detail
