Job Overview

Join Audi Formula Racing GmbH as a student intern in Material Controller at our Neuburg location. As part of our Managing Director Operations (COO) team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the timely availability of materials for the development and production of the Audi F1 Powertrain.

Your Mission

  • Support our team in ensuring material availability for the Audi F1 Powertrain development and production
  • Contribute to demand planning and material scheduling, considering technical, logistical, and commercial requirements
  • Translate technical requirements into purchase requisitions and collaborate with specialist departments
  • Analyse material consumption and inventory developments to create transparency across material flows
  • Regularly review material requirements and availability, identifying and resolving potential supply shortages
  • Work closely with Engineering, Procurement, Quality Management, Logistics, and Controlling to support effective cross-functional collaboration
  • Assist in prioritising and coordinating critical material requirements in a dynamic environment
  • Contribute to designing, developing, and optimising material planning and control processes
  • Support the creation and enhancement of analyses, reports, and Excel-based tools to improve processes and decision-making
  • Take on additional tasks and responsibilities as required

Your Profile

  • Currently enrolled in a degree program in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Production Engineering, Logistics, or a comparable field
  • Passionate about technical concepts, innovative powertrain technologies, and motorsport challenges
  • Initial knowledge of Supply Chain Management, Material Planning, Logistics, or Production Control is ideal
  • Solid technical understanding, interest in technical drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), and assembly structures
  • Experience with ERP, PDM, or comparable systems is an advantage
  • Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, with initial experience in macros or data analysis desirable
  • Strong analytical thinking, structured approach to work, and excellent problem-solving skills
  • Independent and reliable, with strong communication skills, team spirit, and high initiative
  • Fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken
