Job Summary
We are seeking a Staff Software Engineer to join our Patient Experience team at Pomelo Care, a leading virtual medical practice redefining healthcare for women and children.

Responsibilities
- Lead the technical direction for our mobile development strategy and patient-facing apps
- Rapidly prototype and ship features in our patient mobile and web apps using AI tools
- Help steer product direction for supporting and retaining patients
- Collaborate with patients, product, design, and clinical teams to develop features
- Mentor junior engineers and set technical standards

Requirements
- Deep experience building and shipping consumer or patient-facing products
- Experience as a technical lead on a team
- Strong opinions on building great user experiences
- Comfortable working across the full stack and moving quickly in a startup environment
- Familiarity with trends in LLM coding agents
Nice to Have
- Experience with React Native or cross-platform mobile frameworks
- Background in healthcare, wellness, or high-trust consumer domains
- Experience with AI/ML or building agent-based systems

Salary Range
The estimated salary range for this role is $220,000 to $260,000.
