This role will be primarily in content development, building out the assets planned by feature owners on the team. They will regularly take an outline or storyboard of information and convert it into a classroom or independent activity. There is a lot of text-based generation, requiring excellent written communication in a conversational tone.
This position exhibits strong strategic communication skills and is a trusted advisor and consultant within the business. They advise people leaders and program managers at every level in developing and rolling out effective communication and change management plans for the organization and business units as assigned. The Corporate Communications Senior Consultant develops, directs, produces, and coordinates strategic communication plans that further the enterprise strategy and drives employee engagement. They complete project work including organizing and executing business unit events, writing and editing business unit materials, coordinating communication distribution, and building relationships with internal clients.
The role involves creating strategic communication plans in support of initiatives that drive the business forward. This includes developing thoughtful communication plans that incorporate complex change management practices and principles. The ideal candidate will have excellent writing and editing skills, as well as the ability to design and edit various presentation materials. They will also be responsible for managing miscellaneous communication documents, providing direction of visual elements, and communicating progress to appropriate parties.
In addition to these responsibilities, the successful candidate will contribute to the development of strategies to promote organization goals, link project objectives with other projects in the department, and place individual projects in the larger context of their fit with business goals. They will also manage specific projects with some peer oversight responsibilities, plan and prepare for all-employee meetings and other large events, and direct peers and associates from other teams on communications projects as assigned.
