AVP, Business Banking - Hang Seng Bank (HK)

Join Hang Seng Bank Limited as an Assistant Vice President (AVP) in Business Banking. You'll develop, manage, and monitor a portfolio of SME customers, providing them with commercial banking facilities and building strong relationships.

Key Responsibilities:

• Extend appropriate commercial banking facilities to SME customers
• Meet or exceed Annual Operating Plan (AOP) business targets while managing operating expenses and credit risks
• Maintain close relationships with customers and acquire new relationships through key customers and strategic partners
• Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior team members
• Monitor loan book quality and ensure control measures are in place to minimize risk exposure

Requirements:

• University degree in Banking, Business Management, Finance, or a related field
• Proven sales and marketing experience in commercial lending, preferably in SME business
• Passes in the Insurance Intermediaries Qualifying Examinations and fulfillment of competency requirements for regulated activities under the Securities and Futures Ordinance
• Strong self-motivation, independence, and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and customer orientation skills
• Proficiency in English and Chinese, with fluency in Putonghua an advantage
• Professional qualifications like Enhanced Competency Framework (ECF) and/or Certified Banker (CB) under Hong Kong Institute of Bankers (HKIB) are advantageous
