Join our team as an Internal Travel Team - Physical Therapist. You will be responsible for planning, organising and delivering physical therapy programmes that help clients/patients/residents recover and improve their mobility, relieve pain, increase strength and prevent deformities. Conduct examinations, evaluations, and interventions for clients/patients/residents affected by injury or disease. Utilise tools and techniques to administer physical therapy interventions following safeguards. Document client's/patient's/resident's information for evaluation; establish therapeutic plans and modify them if necessary. Educate clients/patients/residents and their family members about treatment plans/schedules and self-exercises to be continued at home.
You will be working in multiple sites (SD, ND, NE, CO, IA and MN) and settings with the flexibility in scheduled hours. There will be regular pay and a weekly stipend. All buildings are on the same EMR and Good Sam sites.
You will be required to obtain and maintain required department specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers is required or within the first 60 days of employment.
