We are hiring a Senior Product Designer to push the boundaries of product craft. Intercom is one of the most design-driven and AI-first technology companies. Our AI Agent, Fin, is the best performing, most widely adopted, and highest-grossing AI service agent on the market.
As a Senior Product Designer, you will own end-to-end design for high-impact product areas from concept to execution. You will define new interaction patterns and design paradigms for Fin, our automation, and AI-powered tools. You will sketch, prototype, and test ideas at different fidelities to validate decisions.
You will work closely with engineers and PMs to define problems, move quickly, and deliver high-quality solutions. You will maintain high standards of craft while balancing speed and execution. You will contribute to design culture,mentoring others, pushing for greatness in a team, refining processes, and sharing knowledge inside and outside Intercom.
To be successful, you will have shipped complex, high-quality software products. You will design for multiple surfaces,desktop, mobile, chat interfaces, AI-first, and emerging experiences. You will balance speed and detail,knowing when to move fast and when to obsess over the last 1%. You will think end-to-end,from big-picture systems thinking to the smallest interaction detail.
You will understand engineering and can build prototypes to communicate ideas. You will have taste. You know what great design looks and feels like, and you push to get there. You will be able to tell a compelling story,articulating your decisions with clarity and conviction.
You will operate with agency, ownership, and autonomy,don't wait to be told what to do. You will be comfortable with open-endedness and ambiguity. You will obsess over details. You will primarily work on designing deep, functional software experiences.
