Partner Engineer: Partner Intelligence, AI & Apps

This partner intelligence engineer owns the internal tooling that runs the ISV partner organisation: pipelines, dashboards, Genie spaces, metric views, and AI applications and workflows.

Impact you will have

• Build, schedule, and maintain data pipelines for the partner business, ensuring quality, monitoring, and governance.
• Develop and own metrics and measurement for partners, including metrics, metric views, and definitions.
• Create and maintain dashboards, Genie spaces, and apps for daily business operations.
• Build AI applications and workflows that automate partner business processes.
• Develop internal tools on partner products and provide feedback to AI and Apps partnerships.
• Test new Databricks features early and collaborate with Developer Relations.

Required Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data engineering, analytics engineering, or a similar role.
• Extensive hands-on experience with Databricks data engineering and analytics tools.
• Strong SQL and Python skills, with experience in building and maintaining production data pipelines.
• Experience in building analytics layers, including dashboards and metric definitions.
• Familiarity with AI applications and agentic workflows.
• Regular use of AI code-gen and app-building tools.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work in fast-paced environments.

Preferred Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of Databricks analytics and AI features.
• Experience with dbt or similar transformation frameworks.
• Background in defining business metrics and KPI frameworks.
• Open-source contributions or community involvement in data and AI.

Pay Range Transparency The pay range for this role is $101,900-$140,150 USD.
