Senior Trust and Safety Operations Analyst

Twitch is looking for a Senior Trust and Safety Operations Analyst to join their Trust & Safety team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and taking action on user reports of policy violations, prioritizing sensitive community issues, reviewing and responding to internal and external escalations, and participating in shift rotations.

The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, Investigations, Fraud Prevention, Content Moderation, Escalations, and Crisis Management. They should possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, professionalism, initiative, and sound decision-making abilities.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assessing and taking action on user reports of Twitch policy violations promptly and effectively
• Prioritizing swift action on sensitive community issues, including child safety, terrorism, and violent extremism
• Reviewing and responding to internal and external escalations
• Participating in shift rotation for some weekends and holidays
• Maintaining expert understanding of Twitch's policies, site features, and internal documentation
• Contributing insights and skills to the Trust & Safety team to support Twitch's global community
• Identifying areas for improvement using a data-driven approach to understand and mitigate risk
• Leveraging AI tooling and programs such as SQL to build efficiencies and streamline workflows
• Leading projects to improve the operating model, conduct effective investigations, and understand the evolving risk landscape

Requirements:

• 4+ years of experience in Trust & Safety, Risk Operations, Investigations, Fraud Prevention, Content Moderation, Escalations, and Crisis Management
• Experience investigating complex user, content, or platform safety issues and making risk-based decisions in ambiguous situations
• Familiarity with SQL, data analysis tools, or AI-assisted workflows
• Ability to analyze large datasets, identify patterns, and translate findings into actionable recommendations
• Curiosity and willingness to learn new tools and technologies
• Experience working with cross-functional partners, including Policy, Legal, and Engineering teams
