Description
We are seeking a Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will work under the supervision of a licensed physical therapist to assist with patient care and treatment plans.
Responsibilities: Assist physical therapists with patient evaluations, treatments, and progress assessments Provide patient education on exercise programs, home exercises, and proper body mechanics Conduct routine maintenance of equipment and supplies Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records Collaborate with physical therapists and other healthcare professionals to ensure quality patient care
Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent required Associate's degree in physical therapy assistant studies or related field preferred Current certification as a physical therapist assistant (PTA) in the state of Texas Ability to lift and move patients as needed Strong communication and interpersonal skills
