Senior Mekanikkonstruktör inom Automotive

We are seeking a Senior Mechanical Designer within Automotive to join our team in Stockholm. You will work on developing future vehicles, from concept and prototypes to finished products and industrialization.

Our mechanical design team, based in Haninge, works on developing components and systems within Automotive, focusing on powertrains, chassis, packaging, and installation. Our projects involve some of the industry's leading players and cover both passenger cars and heavy vehicles.

Responsibilities:

• Design and product development in advanced customer projects, often as an integrated part of the customer's organization
• Contribute technical expertise and drive deliveries, working with concept development, detailed design, and creation of 3D models and drawings
• Work in CAD tools such as CATIA V5, Creo, or similar
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in development, production, and purchasing, and take responsibility for analysis, follow-up, and documentation of technical solutions
• Maintain ongoing dialogue with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure quality and progress in projects

Profile:

• Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Vehicle Engineering, Product Development, or equivalent
• 5-10 years of experience in mechanical design
• Experience in the automotive industry, preferably in heavy vehicles
• Proficient in CAD tools, such as CATIA V5/3DX, PTC Creo, Siemens NX, or similar
• Experience with product development processes
• Excellent Swedish and English language skills, spoken and written
